Privacy Policy & the New GDPR

You will probably be aware that as of May the 25th 2018 the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has been applied. This replaces the Data Protection Act 1998 in the UK and the equivalent legislation across the EU member States. We are obliged by law to inform our customers how any personal data that we collect is processed and retained.

The information that we collect will be via a previous telephone call or direct contact to our office, we will take basic details such as name, address telephone number and email details, this is recorded on a database and will not be passed to any third party companies.

If you should choose to accept our quotation we will then only pass any personal data that we have collected to companies that are linked to our industry for the purposes of fulfilling the requirements of the competent person scheme for self-certification under the building regulations, such as Fensa or for Insurance Backed guarantees that we must issue for your protection should we cease to trade which will guarantee that our works are covered there after for a period of up 10 years. This personal data includes title, name, address, telephone & email numbers.

In time we may send you details of any offers or products that are directly linked to our company. If this is not something of interest to you please telephone our office or email us and we will instantly withdraw from contacting you.
